Back in school and feel down...FT Work and the class over the winter break proved to be more time consuming than I anticipated. Not only did I not get much personal drawings done, but I barely got any drawing done at all...Now I'm back in school and feel like my skill level just took a few steps back - and thats only have 3 weeks! I cannot afford to stop drawing.

A while back i remember seeing on your other art site some ink drawings of trees.
I can't seem to find them anymore though and wonder what happened to the drawings.

I have 2 very old drawings of trees, but they were done in pencil. I can email them to you if you want. They're really not all that great, thats why I took them down...haha

Hey, I don't think we had any classes together. Since you're already in Chuck's class, that means you're ahead of me because I'm only taking clothed figure 1 right now. =)

From the looks of some of your work, you're going for graphic novel?

yeah either that, or storyboard production for movies, or a medical anatomist artist for like medical works. Well c where the end of this semester takes me.

hey i recognised your models, like richard, kurt, etc. Do you still go to the academy of art? Im also an illustration student, I have chuck pyle as my clothed figure three teacher. LEt me know wats gud man. I really liked your perspective stuff. Keep up the good work man.

Hey i have a question.. i'm a high school sophmore thinking of taking figure drawing classes in the summer but don't want to overload myself what with other summer class hw.. do figure drawing classes have any work to bring home? ._.

Well I can't really speak for all figure drawing classes and instructors, but I imagine that the point of doing figure drawing from life is to do it from life. You may get a few master copy assignments but other than that, I think you're ok. Just keep doing what you're doing and you will be fine. You can even skip the class all together and just buy a good anatomy book and study the hell out of it, then go outside and start drawing people on the street, on the bus, at the park etc. Best of luck to you =)
